Chaitra Dalton

Founder, The Art of Wellness and Chair, National Minority Health Association


Chaitra Dalton is a nutritionist; in essence, she designs nutrition and wellness on the inside and out, with a specialty in the art and science of personal life transformation. Chaitra is a wellness expert to leaders and leadership organizations. She began honing her skills in the world of wellness and nutrition while attending Syracuse University.

She graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Human Development and a concentration in Fashion Design and then founded Chaitra Inc., a multifaceted private holding company focused on creative consultation of fashion projects, entertainment projects/ programs for organizations and individuals alike. Always hungry for additional knowledge, Chaitra continued her education via The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Cornell University. At these notable institutions, she completed certifications in plant based dieting and the psychology of eating and health coaching. Chaitra studied all the major dietary and mind-body theories by experts such as Deepak Chopra, Andrew Weil, and Marianne Nestle.

Chaitra is the founder of The Art of Wellness, the wellness division of Chaitra, Inc. The Art of Wellness core offers out-of-the-box holistic and integrative wellness services. Both, a modern and natural approach to developing a healthy, balanced lifestyle while taking into account the person as a whole; both inside and out. The Art of Wellness services include 360 degree health/lifestyle coaching, career development, spiritual awareness, weight management, preventive care programs, mindfulness, cleansing and natural cooking; in addition to providing essential health enhancement resources that include nutritional supplements and wellness products.

Chaitra has helped an array of individuals through conducting personalized health coaching and group workshops. A few of her current corporate clients include Hot Legs, a depilatory/skincare brand sold within the Walgreens family of companies and Ulta Beauty, Collective Bias, a social media shopper agency, the National Jewish Health Initiative “Stop Smoking Cessation Program”, Detroit East Health Services and Bulldog Bikes racing team. Chaitra has served on the Genetic Disease Foundation and the National Minority Health Association boards. She is a member of Kappa Omicron Nu. The Links Inc., and The American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
